8-Cap Strips Our optical caps are flat 8-cap strips with thin walls. These caps are optically flat and have a parallel area at the top, which enables real-time qPCR experiments. Their extremely transparent glass-grade surface matches the performance properties of optical seals. When combined with our qPCR plates, they show better closure than other brands, thus less evaporation. Refer to our compatibility chart to use the correct caps compatible with the real-time thermal cycler.
